The King's Strange Intuition
A King was touring his kingdom on an elephant. Suddenly, he stopped in front of a shop and whispered to his minister, "I don't know why, but I have a strong urge to hang the owner of this shop." The minister was shocked but couldn't ask for a reason before the King moved on.
The Merchant's Despair
The next day, the minister visited the shop in disguise. He found that the merchant sold Sandalwood. When asked about business, the merchant sadly replied that people only smell the wood but don't buy it. He confessed, "My only hope is that the King dies soon. A large amount of sandalwood will be needed for his funeral, and my fortune will change."
The Minister's Realization
The minister instantly understood the mystery. The merchant's intense negative thoughts (wishing for the King's death) were projecting invisible vibrations. The King, being the receiver, intuitively felt hatred toward the merchant without knowing him. Thoughts are energy.
The Wisdom of Action
The wise minister decided to break this cycle. He bought some sandalwood from the merchant. He then went to the King and presented it, saying, "The sandalwood merchant has sent this as a gift for you." The King was delighted by the golden color and fragrance of the wood.
The Transformation
Pleased, the King sent gold coins to the merchant and felt guilty for having wanted to kill him earlier. When the merchant received the gold, he was stunned. He praised the King's generosity and felt deep regret for his earlier ill wishes. The negative cycle was completely reversed.
The Law of Karma
If we hold good thoughts for others, positive energy returns to us. If we harbor ill will, it bounces back to us.
कर्म क्या है? हमारे शब्द, हमारे कार्य, हमारी भावनायें, हमारी गतिविधियाँ।
हमारे सोच विचारों से ही हमारे कर्म बनते हैं।
Stay Happy. What you have is enough.
